EZ-001 / About this atlas

An open civic atlas
of hurricane zones.

EvacuationZones.com is a free, plainspoken lookup tool for US hurricane evacuation zones. Type your address, ZIP, or city. We return the zone the state would call to evacuate first, with a link straight to the official Know Your Zone map.

Our mission.

When a hurricane threatens, you have minutes to know whether you're in the group asked to leave. We make that lookup easy in English and Spanish for every coastal address we cover. Bookmark your address now, check it every June, and trust the official map when a watch is posted.

Coverage.

We currently cover Florida, Georgia, and Virginia. Louisiana is in progress for the 2026 season. From any state page you can browse cities and towns, then drop a full address into the result page for a precise zone.

Data & sourcing.

Zone boundaries are sourced from each state's official emergency management agency, which models storm surge using the National Hurricane Center's SLOSH simulation system and refines the results with local elevation data. Every state result page on this site cross-links the authoritative Know Your Zone tool. When in doubt, defer to the agency that drew the line.
